About the script:
SpeakEasy finally allows you to work with captions in After Effects.
How it works:
- ✅ Import your .SRT subtitle file into After Effects (these can be exported from Premiere)
- ✅ Edit any subtitles you need to via the SpeakEasy Panel
- ✅ Choose a text layer or / Essential Graphics comp for the caption style
- 💡 You can also choose a different style for individual captions
- ✅ Hit the create layers button and all the captions are created at the right times for you.

You can just use any motion graphics template / essential graphics comp as a caption style.
But to make sure your animations are timed to the captions, you need to add a few extra steps.
That's why SpeakEasy includes a MoGRT helper that will create an Essential Graphics comp ready for you to modify.
This helper comp includes a text layer with a couple of Text Animators that are all linked up via expressions so that your animations will be timed to your captions. All you have to do is add your styles!

Nope, just After Effects!
Can I create my own caption styles?
Yes! SpeakEasy allows you to use any essential graphics comp or text layer as the style for your captions.
You can either set things up manually, or use the MoGRT Helper in the panel to quickly create a new text layer style that will be timed to your captions.
The Loop Licence Keys
Where is my licence key?
When you purchase a script you will be sent a licence Key via email.
This licence key is also available via the script's product page in your Lemon Squeezy Orders.
How do I use my licence key?
Once you have installed your script you will be prompted to enter your licence key. Copy and paste the full licence key into the text box and press the "Activate" button.

The really important bit:
Before you install any of the Loop scripts you have to enable the "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" setting.
Go to: Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions and make sure the "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" checbox is ticked.
Please note: An active internet connection is also required for verification.

Frequently Asked Questions about the licence
Where is my licence key?
Your licence key is sent to you via email. It is also available via the script's product page in your Lemon Squeezy Orders.
Why do I keep being asked to provide my licence key?
Each licence allows you to use the script on a set number of workstations. For example: the solo licence allows you to use the script on two workstations at a time.
If you or someone else tries to use the script on a third computer then the first person who registered the script will be logged out and you will need to provide the key again.
If you need access to the script from more than two workstations either purchase another individual licence, or subscribe to a team licence.
My licence key isn't working
Please try all of the following before sending an email:
- Make sure you're inputting the full and exact licence key without any extra spaces at the start or end.
- Please check you are actively connected to the internet.
- Try temporarily disabling any firewalls or anti-virus software. Remember to re-enable them afterwards.
