That's why After Effects text animation presets are a wonderfully quick and simple option for creating animated text. All you have to do is drag and drop the after effects text preset you want onto your text layer, and you're done! Your text will be animated for you.

How to use the After Effects text presets:

To use any after effects text animation preset, you first of all have to install them. Check out this quick guide on how to install After Effects Presets.

Once you've installed the text animation presets, they will appear in the *Animation Presets > User Presets folder of the Effects * Presets panel within After Effects.

Using the staple text animation presets:

The Staple After Effects text animation presets are split into two different categories: animate in and animate out.

These describe the general flow of the text animation, if you need to animate text onto the screen you'd pick a preset from the "In" folder, animating off screen you'd pick one from the "Out" folder.

Once you've chosen a preset to apply, simply drag and drop the preset from the Effects & Presets panel onto your chosen text layer.
