Creating orbits in After Effects
There are many ways of creating an orbit in After Effects, and pretty much every single method is pretty tedious. With the orbit after effects script, it couldn't be simpler: just select the layers you want to put into orbit, choose the size of the orbit and hit go.
Customise your orbit
The script also adds a control null for each orbit created, here you can customise the size of the orbit (how far away from the centre the orbitting satellite is), as well as adjusting the orientation of the orbit too.
Adding expressions such as "time*50" to the orientation of an orbit helps add a little extra variance to the animation for some pretty cool results.

Where is my licence key?
When you purchase a script you will be sent a licence Key via email.
This licence key is also available via the script's product page in your Lemon Squeezy Orders.
How do I use my licence key?
Once you have installed your script you will be prompted to enter your licence key. Copy and paste the full licence key into the text box and press the "Activate" button.

The really important bit:
Before you install any of the Loop scripts you have to enable the "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" setting.
Go to: Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions and make sure the "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" checbox is ticked.
Please note: An active internet connection is also required for verification.

Frequently Asked Questions about the licence
Where is my licence key?
Your licence key is sent to you via email. It is also available via the script's product page in your Lemon Squeezy Orders.
Why do I keep being asked to provide my licence key?
Each licence allows you to use the script on a set number of workstations. For example: the solo licence allows you to use the script on two workstations at a time.
If you or someone else tries to use the script on a third computer then the first person who registered the script will be logged out and you will need to provide the key again.
If you need access to the script from more than two workstations either purchase another individual licence, or subscribe to a team licence.
My licence key isn't working
Please try all of the following before sending an email:
- Make sure you're inputting the full and exact licence key without any extra spaces at the start or end.
- Please check you are actively connected to the internet.
- Try temporarily disabling any firewalls or anti-virus software. Remember to re-enable them afterwards.
