Rather than using the work area bar to define your renders: Renderly 2 allows you to create render sections for your compositions. You can even set multiple sections for one composition.
Once you’ve defined a render section, you can then use the Renderly Queue to set the file name, folder path, and output module for that section.

How Renderly 2 saves you time:

No more manually adjusting the settings of each render, just set the folder path, file name, and output module once!

Render multiple parts of a single composition
If you want to manually render out different sections of the same comp in After Effects you would have to:
- Add your comp to the render queue
- Open up the render settings
- Change the Start time & End time to the correct value
- Go back into your comp and add the next section
- Repeat steps 1 - 4 for every different section you need
Not only that, you would have to repeat this process every single time you want to render those sections out.
With Renderly all you have to do is create two render sections in your comp and hit the add to queue button. Simple.
Renderly frees up the work area bar
The work area bar is constantly changing size in After Effects because it's used for seeing small RAM previews.
This means that when it comes time to render out the full section of work, the work area bar has to be manually updated to the right start and end time for the whole project.
With Renderly, you can create a render region for your whole project instead, completely freeing up the work area bar for your RAM previews. Not only that, it also means that you can add your full project to the render queue at the touch of a button without having to manually change the start and end time for every render you need.
Using the Marker Maker
Renderly has a built in marker maker so you can easily specify a new render section.
There are two ways to create a section: either enter the start and end timecodes; alternatively, you can create a render section to match the work area bar inPoint and outPoint.

Where is my licence key?
When you purchase a script you will be sent a licence Key via email.
This licence key is also available via the script's product page in your Lemon Squeezy Orders.
How do I use my licence key?
Once you have installed your script you will be prompted to enter your licence key. Copy and paste the full licence key into the text box and press the "Activate" button.

The really important bit:
Before you install any of the Loop scripts you have to enable the "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" setting.
Go to: Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions and make sure the "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" checbox is ticked.
Please note: An active internet connection is also required for verification.

Frequently Asked Questions about the licence
Where is my licence key?
Your licence key is sent to you via email. It is also available via the script's product page in your Lemon Squeezy Orders.
Why do I keep being asked to provide my licence key?
Each licence allows you to use the script on a set number of workstations. For example: the solo licence allows you to use the script on two workstations at a time.
If you or someone else tries to use the script on a third computer then the first person who registered the script will be logged out and you will need to provide the key again.
If you need access to the script from more than two workstations either purchase another individual licence, or subscribe to a team licence.
My licence key isn't working
Please try all of the following before sending an email:
- Make sure you're inputting the full and exact licence key without any extra spaces at the start or end.
- Please check you are actively connected to the internet.
- Try temporarily disabling any firewalls or anti-virus software. Remember to re-enable them afterwards.
