Every motion design project should have a clearly defined set of stages and deliverables. No matter how small the project, both parties need to know exactly what's going to be produced in a project.
With this Statement of Work Notion Template the hard work is done for you. All you have to do is input your own stages and deliverables and send it off to your client! It couldn't be simpler. No more wasting time producing complex PDF's: just customise and go.
When you purchase the Motion Design Proposal template you'll receive a link to the Notion template.
From there, all you have to do is press the "Duplicate" option in the top right hand corner to add the template to your own Notion workspace.
When you've customised the template in Notion and you're ready to present your proposal to your client, simply click the "Share" option in the top right corner of the screen.
Enter your client's email address and then select "Can View" in the sharing options drop-down list. This way, your client will be able to view the statement of work but they won't be able to edit or make any changes to the Notion template.
The template also includes some handy sections at the bottom of the page:
This section explains to your client what happens when they review your work at the end of each stage of the project. It clearly states that feedback is separated into minor and major categories, and that any major changes may require more time and budget to complete.
Having this section in the statement of work helps reduce the dreaded "scope creep" and ensures the client knows that any changes need to be accounted for.

At the very bottom of the statement of work template, there's instructions on how to add a Typeform to the template - (if you've never used typeform it's a great way of creating online forms).
By embedding a form at the bottom you can create an official sign-off step where the client has to input their name and agree to the above statement of work. This is a great addition because it means you have an official record of the client agreeing to the work set out in the template.
